In 2020, the volume of electricity generated by solar and hydro power plants operating under Energy Invest Holding’s umbrella increased as compared to the previous year, reaching out to 73.9 million kW*h.  

The Holding’s solar power plant "Arevek" (the first utility-scale solar plant in Armenia) has been operating since 2017.

In addition to increasing the "green" energy generation, the Holding also focuses on storing the produced energy.  For this purpose, the Holding’s specialists study the international benchmarks and best practices of energy storage.  

Negotiations are currently underway with leading European and Chinese battery storage producing companies for building a utility-scale battery storage facility in Armenia.
