AgiBot A2 is taking on a new challenge: a cross-province walk spanning 106.286 km, from Suzhou’s Jinji Lake to the Shanghai Bund. For comparison, the current Guinness World Record for the longest walk by a passive walking robot is 16.3 km, achieved by a robot designed and built by the Walking Robot Research Team at Future University Hakodate (Japan) in Hakodate, Hokkaido, from 13 to 17 September 2011.

AgiBot has officially unveiled its G2 humanoid robot, a system engineered to integrate into a wide range of industries and relieve humans from repetitive tasks. The G2 incorporates high-performance joints, precision torque sensors, and an advanced spatial perception system, enabling rapid deployment and seamless multimodal voice interaction.

The G2 is engineered to meet industrial-grade standards. On a safety-belt lock production line, the robot works alongside human operators, performing tasks such as pressing lock cores. It also collects production data to continually train and refine its models – while local server deployment ensures data privacy – allowing the G2 to steadily enhance its operational capabilities.

The G2 also navigates narrow factory aisles with ease, using dual LiDAR units and full-panorama vision for environmental sensing and collision detection. Its chassis is engineered to traverse common obstacles—such as speed bumps and elevator gaps—and it supports round-the-clock operation through autonomous return-to-charge and battery-swapping capabilities.
