On December 25, 2017, the Dzora Hydro Power Plant (HPP), which is the oldest operating HPP in Armenia, has celebrated its 85th anniversary. During the celebration event, nine employees of the HPP were awarded with Certificates of Honour of the Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia.

Dzora HPP continues to work and produce electricity. Moreover, it is expected that the headwork of the plant will be renovated in the nearest future, which will add on the efficiency of the plant’s operations.
