EIH’s Director General, Mr. Armen Petrosyan has participated in the Italian-Armenian Business Forum which took place in Yerevan on June 10, 2019.  The Forum  was dedicated to the perspectives of Italian-Armenian cooperation in Energy, Environment, Transport Infrastructures, Construction, Smart cities and Restoration Sectors. The delegation of leading Italian companies operating in these industries took part in the Forum. Welcoming speeches were delivered by the Prime Minister of Armenia H.E. Nikol Pashinyan and the Italian Ambassador H.E. Vincenzo Del Monaco.

Italian delegation was organized by the Italian Trade Agency – ICE in collaboration with the Italian associations ANCE, OICE, ANIE with Simest and with the productive support of the Italian Embassy in Armenia. The purpose of this event was to strengthen and expand economic and trade relations between Italy and Armenia in the industrial and investment cooperation.

During the B2B meetings, Mr. Petrosyan has met with the representative of the Italian A2A company.  The possible cooperation aspects in the area of alternative and renewable energy were discussed.  The parties have agreed to further discuss a number of projects of mutual interest
