A new control system for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which can combat electronic warfare tools, was developed in Russia at the National Technological Initiative (NTI).

The move is aimed at boosting the reliability of manufactured goods, as well as quickening the mass production of new types of unmanned aerial systems for the domestic market. It will cut the time it takes to develop new drones 1.7-fold and reduce their cost by up to 30%.

Potential customers for the new breakthrough product could include industrial drone manufacturers.

In addition, a school was opened in Russia to teach pilots to control agricultural drones. It intends to train up to 100,000 people by 2030, using its own software and around 2,000 high-tech systems.
