The new electricity tariffs were introduced for consumers effective February 1

Consumer prices for electricity will decrease by 1.22 drams starting February 1. The Public Services Regulatory Commission has set the following electricity sale rates for the "Electric Networks of Armenia" CJSC:

• For consumers connected to 110 kV supply lines, the daytime rate for 1 kWh of electricity will be 33.48 AMD, the nighttime rate will be 29.48 AMD.
• For consumers connected to 35 kV supply lines, the daytime rate for 1 kWh of electricity will be 35.98 AMD, the nighttime rate will be 31.98 AMD.
• For consumers connected to 6 (10) kV supply lines, the daytime rate for 1 kWh of electricity will be 41.98 AMD, the nighttime rate will be 31.98 AMD.
• As regards consumers connected to 0.38 kV and LV supply lines (the largest part of population), the daytime rate for 1 kWh of electricity will be 44.98 AMD (instead of previous 46.2 AMD rate), the nighttime rate will be 34.98 AMD

The daytime rate for socially vulnerable families has been set to 40 AMD, the nighttime rate has been set to 30 AMD.
